Jeppesen Simcharts

SIMCharts by Jeppesen is innovative software that allows flight simulator users the ability to sort, view, and print realistic Jeppesen terminal charts (SIDs, STARs, Approaches, and Airport Diagrams). All of the terminal charts for a particular coverage area are contained on a convenient and easy-to-use CD.

SIMCharts is designed as a stand-alone application (except in the case of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 ). In other words, the preferred and logical method is to insert the desired SIMCharts coverage area CD into your computer prior to your simulator flight. You then launch the SIMCharts application. The SIMCharts viewer will appear along with the airports and SIMCharts list boxes. By searching for and selecting the desired airport, you will then see the list of available SIMCharts for that airport. You simply click on the desired SIMChart and it will appear within the viewer as well. In addition, with the selected SIMChart being displayed, you can zoom in or out of the chart as well as print it for use when flying on your flight simulator.

Jeppesen Covers the World – When you purchase SIMCharts, you’ll be given the choice of installing the region(s) you like. Choose the Terminal Package which allows you to install one region, or select the Terminal Package which allows you to install three regions. Either way, SIMCharts gives you the flexibility to choose. Also, look for SIMCharts Enroute Packages which provide Terminal Paper Enroute Charts.

The information depicted on these aeronautical charts coincides with the aviation data contained in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. SIMCharts are based on expired data.
