The S-Mod music adapter replaces existing cover on the Bose Aviation X headset without modifications. This adapter will play music from your ipod or mp3 player. It will also work for both audio and voice if you have an Apple Iphone.

The S-Mod adapter replaces the manufacturer's cover which is used to cover the 5-pin plug on the unused (non-microphone) earcup. If the microphone is mounted on the left earcup, the adapter goes on the right, and vice-versa. High/Low impedance switch ensures maximum fidelity.

Input stereo audio media device into headset via 3.5mm mini-stereo jack. The unit comes standard with a 3.5mm stereo input cord!

Does not block aircraft communications.

NOTE: There is no muting feature on this adapter. This is normally a function of the communications panel of the aircraft. The S-Mod does not work with the Bose Aviation Headset X Helicopter version.
