The GARMIN aera 795/796 Lap Mount comes with a velcro strap to secure it to your lap. It can be used to mount your Garmin aera 795/796 or GPSMAP 696/695 in planes that have a stick control that prevent the units' standard yoke mount from working, or simply if you prefer having your GPS mounted on your leg.
