hands down for the amount Marv's is selling this for you can not go wrong The unit is perfect for the flyer who wants one more tool in the tool box At this price everyone can afford to own it as a backup On top of that you can stick it in the car and it will take you home All that and great people to deal with what more do you want? At this price range, can't beat it! Too bad we don't have XM weather in Brazil, though... (Posted on 1/15/13)Quality
- A Nice unit after I learned how to use it ! Review by BcPilot

When I first got the unit I was not impressed. I have had the GPS about a month now and after using it for a few minutes every day, I have come to really like this unit. Touch screens are not my favorite and it took a little to get used to. It is alot faster inputing waypoint data and setting up routes once you learn how to move around the screen menus. I don't think that it is intuitive as the Garmin but it does have some nice features like styus with screen key board entry, weight and balance, and with clear graphics. and its at a great price. The stylus works better on the touch screen then your finger. I have a metal roof and this is the only GPS that I have ever had that will get position data in the middle of the house and with out holding it out the window. It is slower to aquire in the house but its really works great. I do hope that a some point that they will get Canadian Charts for the Bendix King. Give it a fair trial and learn how to use it before you judge it as a poor GPS. Over all I'm very pleased with my AV80R ACE. (Posted on 1/2/13)Quality
- Great value for the price Review by Flyboy2
-
While this isn’t the most advanced Aviation GPS on the market – it is the best value. It is a large-format so it is easy to use. It has an on-screen virtual keyboard and it also has a few physical buttons for the most common functions (e.g., Direct To). You can even use it in the car. At this new low price, you just can’t beat it! (Posted on 10/11/12)Quality
- Great Value, But Poor Touch Screen Performance Review by ArizonaPilot
-
This GPS is an great value, but it has several glaring shortcomings. First is the touch screen, which, despite extensive recalibration attempts, remained wildly inaccurate, making it impossible to use in an aircraft. This alone is a deal breaker because the unit lacks conventional buttons to make menu selections.Quality
Second, the terrain mapping does not distinguish different elevations clearly. And finally, the resolution and screen size are not sufficient to permit the use of approach charts (or even sectionals). (Posted on 9/4/12)
- Detailed flight planning and a bright display Review by Rachel

The most detailed and accurate flight planning I’ve seen on a portable GPS! Flight planning even includes all the intermediate points and turns on the airways. I love that I can also use it in my car, and the navigation is easy to follow. Plus it has Bluetooth compatibility and plays music and movies! Awesome GPS for a decent price.
